Andy Moore – Mentor and Entrepreneur
A seasoned entrepreneur with over 20 years experience and who has been a director of over 50 companies including a number of AIM and PLUS companies and has turned round and rescued a number of companies many of which have been floated on the London Stock Exchange.
Andy has a background in sales
and marketing, having trained with
the Ford Motor Company at the Ford
Marketing Institute. He is an experienced
entrepreneur and has been involved
in many aspects of mergers, acquisitions,
flotation’s and reconstructions.
He is Non executive Chairman of
The Weather Lottery plc, quoted on
AIM. He has also been Chairman of
Ubet2win plc, Zyzygy plc,10 Group
plc, Catalyst New Opportunities plc
and 7 Group plc, a director of Pavilion
Insurance Network plc, Emerging UK
Investments plc, Hot Group plc, and
Beaufort International Group plc,
all quoted or previously quoted on
AIM.
He has held a total of circa
80 Directorships in various sectors
including leisure, media, marketing,
publishing, franchising, property
development, finance and investment.
Renwick Haddow – Editor and Entrepreneur
Renwick is a successful entrepreneur who specialises in buying distressed businesses and turning these round.
Many of these businesses have been
either sold at a substantial profit
or have been listed on the London
Stock Exchange. Renwick has almost 10 years experience and some of his turn around successes have included www.dateline.co.uk the
oldest dating business in the country.
Renwick is the founder of Capital
Ideas plc and two stockbroking houses
and one fund management company all
based in the City and FSA regulated. Renwick graduated from Thames Valley University in 1990 with a BA in Accounting Studies.
In 1993 Renwick qualified as a
Chartered Certified Accountant and
holds the Investment Management Certificate.
Renwick has sat on a number of
small companies’ boards including
a number of AIM quoted companies
spanning a number of sectors including
property. He was founder of AIM quoted Arc Fund Management Holdings plc, a broad-based financial services boutique with £500 million under management.
Here he advised on both small company
and property investment. Renwick
has vast retail experience spanning
hotels, bars, clubs, health spas,
restaurants and gyms and was a founder
of Tup Inns Limited, a chain of hotels,
bars and restaurants. He also formed part of the senior management team of Regents Inns plc.
Anita Madhas – Director
Anita Madhas has a BA hons degree in Accounting and Finance.
She has worked in both industry
and practice, gaining experience
in many different sectors from Advertising,
Construction, Leisure to Online Betting
and Beauty Supplies. She brings with
her experience as a company secretary
and director of private and public
companies.
Having run the financial
function of the majority of these
companies, she has a hands-on approach
to all aspects of accounting.
This marries well when investments
require management input on an ongoing
basis.
Prof Grant Jones – Solicitor, Accountant and Licensed Insolvency Practitioners
Grant Meredith Jones, is a solicitor,
US Federal Attorney and a New York
State Attorney as well as being a
chartered accountant and licensed
insolvency practitioner.
Grant was
previously a partner with what was
at the time a top 20 accountancy
practice which floated on AIM as
Tenon Group plc.
Grant is currently
a director of Turnaround Capital
plc, Turnaround Capital Consultancy
plc, Dang Limited, Baywind Energy
Co‐operative Limited and Aesop Trustees
Limited.
Marcia Hargous – Corporate & Legal Adviser
Marcia is a solicitor in England & Wales, and is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales, Australia.
Marcia's main experience is in
corporate and commercial law. Marcia
joined Capital Ideas as Corporate
Adviser from a city fund management
firm where she handled corporate
finance and investment legal work.
She is currently completing a Diploma
in Corporate Finance.
Having completed
her legal training in 2003, and together
with her previous appointment Marcia
brings with her the experience required
in the small cap arena.
Sarah Evans – Director, Head of Marketing & Investor Relations and Corporate Finance Adviser for Capital Ideas
Sarah has a background in corporate
finance, financial services, marketing,
retail, management and operations.
In past roles Sarah has been responsible
for the operations of two stock
broking houses and Corporate Finance
Operations & Marketing Manager for an AIM-quoted, FSA regulated fund management company based in the City.
Sarah is a director of Capital
Mint Limited and Undervalued Assets
Limited, both subsidiaries of Capital
Ideas plc and Company Secretary for
a number of other companies. Sarah
brings marketing, operations, sales
and corporate finance expertise to
Capital Ideas and is responsible
for investment operations and sales
and marketing.
Anthony Peters – Corporate Finance Executive, and Chief Executive of Capital
Ideas Financial Publishing Limited and Capital Ideas Retail Limited
Anthony qualified as a chartered accountant with Coopers and Lybrand before
holding a number of senior positions in media, latterly as Finance Director
and COO of an AIM listed publishing company.
Anthony has first-hand
experience in takeovers and integration
of businesses out of administration.
He currently sources and executes
relevant acquisitions for Capital
Ideas and is CEO of Capital Ideas
Financial Publishing Limited and
Capital Ideas Retail Ltd.
Eddy Ankrett – Property Expert
Eddy is an experienced property investor who specialises in buying distressed property off market.
Eddy was Managing Director of a
chain of 60 Estate Agents as part
of the Royal Sun Alliance group in
the West Midlands and prior to this
was Marketing Director of Dixon Estate
Agents a chain of 42 Estate Agents
in the UK.
Eddy brings vast property expertise
to Undervalued Assets as a guest
speaker and trainer.
